It’s headed by Herbert “ Magic” Williams, a man whose life was saved by Sam Beckett, and who is desperate to somehow get Sam back – to save the man who saved him. At first glance, the Quantum Leap project seems benevolent it is a chance to rewrite history for the better, and Ben has already saved countless lives. This story seems to parallel the Quantum Leap project itself, perhaps explaining ominous hints of a traitor.
